Lourdes Rangel-Ochoa started her career with the City of Laredo Health Department 35 years ago and for the past two years, she has served as the Director of Grants and Program Development for Gateway. She has been instrumental in bringing diabetes self-management programs to Gateway's scope of services via grants from Methodist Healthcare Ministries, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Pfizer, Inc., and other Local, State, and Federal grants, resulting in Gateway becoming a national leader in diabetes-related healthcare.
